If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item.

Cerakote and Black Nitride are for the entire slide. (Black Nitride adds 2-3 weeks lead time)

It is implied that the customer will have arrangements for coating of a slide if NONE is selected for color. If NONE is chosen there is potentially an issue for rust and corrosion to develop on the slide. Jagerwerks is not responsible for misuse and neglect of bare metal.

We do not charge extra for disassembly/reassembly, if you send your entire slide assembly we will laser align the sights for you.

If you include new sights we will install the new ones at no charge. If you include your 509T, barrel and recoil spring we will align it for free.

If your iron sights are not compatible with the optic/optic cut we will not reinstall them. They will be sent back in a plastic bag with your slide.

The depth of the cut at its lowest point is .250"

The front edge of the optic cut is angled to allow for easier install of the 509T. This will not affect reliability or function of the optic/gun.

If you want lower 1/3rd co-witness iron sight you can purchase them below. You will need a .225" Glock rear and a .215" Glock front.

Glock 509T cut

The milling work that Jagerwerks does really is second to none. It’s low and tight to the slide, the rear sight cut is secure when you move it in front of the optic, it’s clean with no tooling marks left. You honestly could run regular height sights and take the optic out and it wouldn’t look bad at all. My only complaint is whoever Jagerwerks has do their parkerization; when coming back to me looks absolutely terrible. I had to silicone wipe it so bring it out. Now it’s not that big of a deal but upon first impressions out of the box looks bad when you’re paying extra for it.

Work is fantastic. Sight fits like a glove and coating is impeccable (sniper gray). With the life being milled for the 509t the optic sits low enough to see my irons (ameirglo idot pros) through which is a big plus as well. Overall very happy and worth the weight. The hype holds up even with the longer lead times.

Flawless milling, Poor Nitride

I received my slide a few months ago and the optic cut was amazing. Very tight tolerances and no blemishes. On the other hand, within 3 weeks the slide was already showing wear. I am not sure if the slide was not prepped right, the process was rushed, or it was not done correctly. I thought if a client was concerned about wear then choose the nitride finish......well just beware.

Excellent customer service and craftsmanship for my 509t and Bob cut. I was told to get the black nitride finish if holster wear and durability is a concern. So of course I opted for the black nitride. The only down fall was that the slide has a flat and dull appearance and has already shown signs of wear and scratching of the slide, with normal holstering and unholstering in one range day. I miss the Gen 4 factory coating, after years of owning and using the gun it was still shiny and smooth with minimal wear.

Glock 19 509T cut

Absolutely perfect. I expected top quality based on reviews, but this really exceeded expectations. I sent my 509t in with my slide and it came back mechanically zero'd, only needed 2 clicks left to group where I wanted it. It's a rock solid mounting, low to bore axis, and has this optic presenting with a very natural point of aim rather than "teetering on top" of the slide like other RDS's i've shot with. I love the 509T because of it's invincibility, now with this milling I can trust that the rest of my system will be equally up to the task. Well worth the wait!!!

Optic cut

Had my 17 gen 5 cut for a 509t. This is my second optic cut through Jagerwerks so I was expecting the best, and they performed it. Optic fits perfectly, and the nitride completes the overall look all together! Definitely worth the wait!
