Description

The Battle Ready Optic Shield (B.R.O.S.) is for the Trijicon SRO only. Does not fit any other optic.

100% Made in Michigan out of laser welded grade 304 stainless steel then black nitride coated for years of worry-free service.

This is a shield for the Trijicon SRO and is designed to increase the durability and resistance to impact damage of your optic in real life situations. We do not expect this to make your optic invulnerable, you should not either.

We will not warranty your optic.

Does not include mounting screws. We recommend using our RMR/SRO #6-32 7/16" IP15

Weight is 1 oz or 28 grams. Metal thickness is 1mm or .040".

There is a slight bend on the ejection (right) side of the shield. This is to deflect brass.

SRO is NOT included.

    Great Investment

Worth the money for hard use. I was thrown off by the bend on the lower edge and straightened it, has no negative effect on ejection. This is the second one I purchased because I believe in it so much.

    BROS optic shield

The BROS shield for the SRO optic makes an excellent optic good for range use into an outstanding optic for all uses. I have five 9mm and 10mm handguns with SRO and each sports the BROS shield. The BROS protects the optic and I have dings on my BROs to prove it. If you value your Trijicon SRO, but a BROS shield for it. You will be glad you did.

    Solid protection!

I’m not a high-speed operator and I’m never going to REALLY going to put this thing thru its paces but I feel a heck of a lot better about the $700 optic I put on my Glock 17. The BRO is very sturdy and they give you some single sided sticky foam to help close the gap and give a good solid hold on the SRO. The deflection bend is nice. Looks great and looks VERY well made. Now I just need that 24k one…

BROS (Battle Ready Optic Shield for the Trijicon SRO)

The BROS optic shield is one of the best aftermarket products I have ever purchased. The Trijicon SRO suffers from being too fragile and with this optic shield, my SRO is protected. I have SROs on four of my guns and after trying it on one, I immediately ordered three more. The fit and finish on the BROS optic shield is superb and the protection it gives the optic is outstanding. If you have an SRO on any weapon, you need one of these to protect it.

Excellent protection for an expensive optic, it’s the only reason I can cavalry this optic on duty. It’s perfect for the optic, make sure you get the screw set too. Reason I gave 4 stars is because as stated before the access holes are to small, for

Only problem was the shroud covers the the markings on the windage adjustment screw and the holes are too small to press in the brightnesss adjustments easy, but I would buy again.

    BROS for SRO

Published by Jason Bluvas on Dec 9th 2024

I bought this to protect my Trijicon SRO, I have it on a gen 5 Glock 20. I carry my gun in the woods not on a range so I thought it was worth the money to protect my investment. It's a solid unit and I don't have any regrets buying it but I think it can be improved. There is approximately 1/8th gap on both sides between the SRO and the BROS, not a huge issue but it could be a little tighter. Where I do have problems is the SRO buttons are hard to push and the holes in the BROS could be a little larger for fat fingers to reach past the 1/8th inch gap and still get enough pressure on the buttons. I might have to drill out the holes to get better access or maybe use a couple small dowels to reach the buttons.

    Works great

Published by Scott on Jul 29th 2024

Very good product, the JW team does great work and very good customer service. It says the BROS is for SRO only. But i run RMR with it also. Works great with a ARD device from one hundred concepts. If your going to spend 5 or 600$ on a optic, what is another 50$ to help protect it!!! And protect it, it does!!!! I have 4 BROS and will buy more. Thank you JW team for the great QC and service.
