If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item.

Cerakote and Black Nitride are for the entire slide. (Black Nitride adds 2-3 weeks lead time)

It is implied that the customer will have arrangements for coating of a slide if NONE is selected for color. If NONE is chosen there is potentially an issue for rust and corrosion to develop on the slide. Jagerwerks is not responsible for misuse and neglect of bare metal.

Our Trijicon RMR cut is milled to a depth of .125" which includes front recoil posts and mounting screws.

Screws supplied are (2) #6-32 IP15. Both are safe to use on the extractor side of the slide. An IP15 wrench is included for install.

We do not charge extra for disassembly/reassembly, if you send your entire slide assembly we will laser align the sights for you.

If you include new sights we will install the new ones at no charge. If you include your RMR, barrel and recoil spring we will align it for free.

If your iron sights are not compatible with the optic/optic cut we will not reinstall them. They will be sent back in a plastic bag with your slide.

Does not work on the 42. 43. 43x. 48. (small slides)

The $20 upcharge on the 17L/41 is for a stainless steel plug that we install on the underside of the slide. This ensures proper thread engagement.

Carbon Cap - This is used to fill the milled area of the slide when the optic is not in use. You are able to use standard or suppressor height sights with this installed.

Sealing Plate - With the seal plate installed, the RMR can be submerged up to 66ft. for at least one hour without leakage. Made from stainless steel and weighs 2.8 g.

RMR optic cut Glock 17

Would recommend. Great work. I sent them my slide with the barrel, spring everything as well as the RMR optic. Just like they say it was sent back cut and completely assembled and sighted/ aligned. So glad I sent it in to jagerworks. Will use them again 100%

RMR cut for G19

Had a Gen 3 G19 slide milled for an RMR. Outstanding work with a tight fit. Nitride finish looks great, no tool marks or other dings. Only downside was the wait, which is about the same everywhere.

I would trade time for tolerances any day of the week! There's a reason JW is backlogged, and it's not because they're cutting corners trying to pump as much quantity as possible. Sure there are other companies who do it cheaper and/or faster, but this is my primary duty weapon (LEO), and I need it to be 100% dependable. JW has the tools and experience to do it the right way.

I sent a G32 Slide to get milled out for my nephew after he mentioned he wanted a red dot for his Glock. I've heard nothing but good things from coworkers and I was not disappointed. My nephew loves it and is super stoked to have had it done for him.

Glock 19 Gen 5 slide milling and Nitride treatment.

Jagerwerx did a fantastic job on my glock 19 Gen 5 slide milling for a Trijicon RMR. I also sent them my RMR and Ameriglo suppressor sights and they installed everything flawlessly. On top of this I sent them my stainless steel 357 Sig conversion barrel for my Glock 27 Gen 4 to also be black Nitrided they did a fantastic on my 357 Sig conversion barrel. I am very pleased with their services , communication through out the process and customer service. I will use them again in the future for another slide milling.

JW offers exceptional quality, second to none in my experience. Expect service and finish work that you will be proud to own for many years to come. For my most recent order I chose to cut a G45 for a RMR. This is a service that I could get done pretty much anywhere. But JW’s cuts and nitrite are worth waiting for. Waited a little longer than quoted but no complaints here. If it’s worth having it’s worth waiting for. As always, the firearm was returned assembled and zero’d. Can’t ask for much more. 10/10 would recommend time after time. Thanks Jagerwerks! If you purchase during or around a time period where they offer a “sale”, then common sense will tell you that there will be some delays. Also please don’t complain because they are offering industry leading quality cuts at rock bottom prices during sales. They are a small business and I for one appreciate their willingness to provide a discount once or twice a year to those wanting their quality service.
