If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item.

Cerakote and Black Nitride are for the entire slide. (Black Nitride adds 2-3 weeks lead time)

It is implied that the customer will have arrangements for coating of a slide if NONE is selected for color. If NONE is chosen there is potentially an issue for rust and corrosion to develop on the slide. Jagerwerks is not responsible for misuse and neglect of bare metal.

Our Trijicon RMR cut is milled to a depth of .125" which includes front recoil posts and mounting screws.

Screws supplied are (2) #6-32 IP15. Both are safe to use on the extractor side of the slide. An IP15 wrench is included for install.

We do not charge extra for disassembly/reassembly, if you send your entire slide assembly we will laser align the sights for you.

If you include new sights we will install the new ones at no charge. If you include your RMR, barrel and recoil spring we will align it for free.

If your iron sights are not compatible with the optic/optic cut we will not reinstall them. They will be sent back in a plastic bag with your slide.

Does not work on the 42. 43. 43x. 48. (small slides)

The $20 upcharge on the 17L/41 is for a stainless steel plug that we install on the underside of the slide. This ensures proper thread engagement.

Carbon Cap - This is used to fill the milled area of the slide when the optic is not in use. You are able to use standard or suppressor height sights with this installed.

Sealing Plate - With the seal plate installed, the RMR can be submerged up to 66ft. for at least one hour without leakage. Made from stainless steel and weighs 2.8 g.

Glock RMR cut

First of all, the turn around on this service was less than half the time I expected, fantastic. Second, the cut is perfect and the nitride finish looks like it came from Glock. I don’t have the red dot for it yet but the carbon cap looks so good I’m kind of enjoying how it looks and am in no rush to put an optic on. 10/10 would recommend.

Had my Glock 19 slide milled for an RMR and some other slide cuts and the result is incredible. Expected it to be gone for most of the summer given the lead times they state on their website, but was pleasantly surprised when it showed up at my door just over a month after sending it out. Will definitely be sending in some more slides in the future.

Exact Milling, Excellent

I got a slide milled in 2018 (it's now 2022), and I've carried my Roland Special every day I've worn a belt. The slide mill is an precise fit, as the RMR will not fit into the slot unless you EXACTLY get it into the slot. I sent my complete slide and RMR in it's astounding how well it was machined. I barely had to zero my slide upon receiving it, and my 'rezeroing' attempts after my yearly battery change requires no adjustments. I'm a farmer, and I've worn the finish off of the right ear of my RMR with how much it's banged into stuff, a testament to the RMR and screws they give you, although you'll have to figure out your own way to play off the 'plange' of aluminum striking against a door knob or chair in a public setting. Squared away by my use!

Trijicon RMR for Glock

I had shot a friends RMR for the first time and he convinced me that JagerWerks is the best way to go for RMR's, especially for putting the rear sight forward of the optic. I had an old gen 3 Tennifer finish slide and got the nitride finish to cover the milled area, but the whole slide ends up getting done. Looks like a brand new slide because it basically is now.

Turn around was approximately 12 weeks but was well worth it! The quality of work and detail is top notch. Will be using JW again for any future cuts!
