Description

If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item. 

Cerakote and Black Nitride are for the entire slide. (Black Nitride adds 2-3 weeks lead time)

It is implied that the customer will have arrangements for coating of a slide if NONE is selected for color. If NONE is chosen there is potentially an issue for rust and corrosion to develop on the slide. Jagerwerks is not responsible for misuse and neglect of bare metal.

Our Trijicon RMR cut is milled to a depth of .125" which includes front recoil posts and mounting screws. 

Screws supplied are (2) #6-32 IP15. Both are safe to use on the extractor side of the slide. An IP15 wrench is included for install.

We do not charge extra for disassembly/reassembly, if you send your entire slide assembly we will align the sights for you.

If you include new sights we will install the new ones at no charge. If you include your RMR, barrel and recoil spring we will align it for free. 

If your iron sights are not compatible with the optic/optic cut we will not reinstall them. They will be sent back in a plastic bag with your slide.

Does not work on the 42. 43. 43x. 48. (small slides) 

The $20 upcharge on the 17L/41 is for a stainless steel plug that we install on the underside of the slide. This ensures proper thread engagement. 

Carbon Cap - This is used to fill the milled area of the slide when the optic is not in use. You are able to use standard or suppressor height sights with this installed. 

Sealing Plate -  With the seal plate installed, the RMR can be submerged up to 66ft. for at least one hour without leakage. Made from stainless steel and weighs 2.8 g.

    The work was without fault. I sent in my slide assembly with new sights for an RMR cut. All the ordered work was done, and I wouldn’t be able to find something to complain about if I wanted to. The milling work appears perfect and the RMR fits amazingly. I’m addition to the superb quality of the work, the turnaround was fast. The website says 4-8 week turnaround, and I think the turnaround was actually 2 weeks including shipping both ways. That was a pleasant surprise.

    Everything went smoothly. Customer service answered any questions I had very quickly. I got an RMR cut with black cerakote. I sent them a slide, a RMR, and replacement sights. After they recieved the parts, they had it completed and sent back to me in less than 2 weeks. I will be having them do more for me in the future!

    Excellent job! Very nice craftsmanship. Turnout around time was only three weeks and my slide and optic was assembled and mounted flawlessly. This was the first time I’ve used Jagewerks, but it certainly won’t be the last! Keep up the great work guys!

    Glock 19 RMR Optic Cut

    I requested the RMR “race cut” and black nitride finish for my Glock 19 slide. The slide was returned in about a month. The mill-work and slide finish are perfect and exactly as ordered. I installed the sight, assembled the gun and test fired it at my range. The gun functions flawlessly. I couldn’t be happier with the outstanding Jagerwerks service!

    I sent my Glock slide in for work along with replacement iron sights and my RMR. Even with their listed lead times I got my slide back in less time than I thought and was listed. They cut the slide and installed the sights. The irons and optic were boresighted for me. The slide has a durable black nitride coating. For the price I paid, I would recommend this service to anyone. Their turnaround time and attention to detail made this process worth it.
