If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item.

Cerakote and Black Nitride are for the entire slide. (Black Nitride adds 2-3 weeks lead time)

It is implied that the customer will have arrangements for coating of a slide if NONE is selected for color. If NONE is chosen there is potentially an issue for rust and corrosion to develop on the slide. Jagerwerks is not responsible for misuse and neglect of bare metal.

Our Trijicon RMR cut is milled to a depth of .125" which includes front recoil posts and mounting screws.

Screws supplied are (2) #6-32 IP15. Both are safe to use on the extractor side of the slide. An IP15 wrench is included for install.

We do not charge extra for disassembly/reassembly, if you send your entire slide assembly we will align the sights for you.

If you include new sights we will install the new ones at no charge. If you include your RMR, barrel and recoil spring we will align it for free.

If your iron sights are not compatible with the optic/optic cut we will not reinstall them. They will be sent back in a plastic bag with your slide.

Does not work on the 42. 43. 43x. 48. (small slides)

The $20 upcharge on the 17L/41 is for a stainless steel plug that we install on the underside of the slide. This ensures proper thread engagement.

Carbon Cap - This is used to fill the milled area of the slide when the optic is not in use. You are able to use standard or suppressor height sights with this installed.

Sealing Plate - With the seal plate installed, the RMR can be submerged up to 66ft. for at least one hour without leakage. Made from stainless steel and weighs 2.8 g.

RMR cut on 2 glock slides

I had the race cut done on 2 glock slides. Also had the black nitride done to both. 1 slide had considerable holster wear from being a law enforcement trade in. The slide looks brand new after finishing and the slide milling is top notch.

Trijicon RMR slide milling

Jagerwerks performed a simple optics cut for a Trijicon RMR.2 on a 19.5 slide. I opted to get the nldc black finish as well. It took approximately 6 weeks to get it back in hand. When I received the finished product, it looks like something that should’ve came factory from Glock. The gap between slide and optic is nearly invisible and the tolerances are incredibly tight. The coating looks like factory Gen5. They installed the irons I included as well. When I took this to the range it zeroed within minutes. It performed flawlessly and had zero issues. If you’re looking to mill a slide, this is the way to go. Good work Jagerwerks.
