If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item.

Cerakote and Black Nitride are for the entire slide. (Black Nitride adds 2-3 weeks lead time)

It is implied that the customer will have arrangements for coating of a slide if NONE is selected for color. If NONE is chosen there is potentially an issue for rust and corrosion to develop on the slide. Jagerwerks is not responsible for misuse and neglect of bare metal.

Our Trijicon RMR cut is milled to a depth of .125" which includes front recoil posts and mounting screws.

Screws supplied are (2) #6-32 IP15. Both are safe to use on the extractor side of the slide. An IP15 wrench is included for install.

We do not charge extra for disassembly/reassembly, if you send your entire slide assembly we will laser align the sights for you.

If you include new sights we will install the new ones at no charge. If you include your RMR, barrel and recoil spring we will align it for free.

If your iron sights are not compatible with the optic/optic cut we will not reinstall them. They will be sent back in a plastic bag with your slide.

Does not work on the 42. 43. 43x. 48. (small slides)

The $20 upcharge on the 17L/41 is for a stainless steel plug that we install on the underside of the slide. This ensures proper thread engagement.

Carbon Cap - This is used to fill the milled area of the slide when the optic is not in use. You are able to use standard or suppressor height sights with this installed.

Sealing Plate - With the seal plate installed, the RMR can be submerged up to 66ft. for at least one hour without leakage. Made from stainless steel and weighs 2.8 g.

RMR Optic Cut Glock G23 Gen4

I was hesitant to send my Gen 4 G23 slide and new Trijicon RMR away for an optic cut, especially with the USPS warning on their home page. However, I took the leap of faith because of the numerous solid reviews on their site. I purchased the insurance for peace of mind, and will do in the future. Prior to sending the slide and optic, I emailed their shop repeatedly with questions regarding the process, sights and other concerns. Zack responded very quickly, usually the same day, with detailed answers and instructions. Level of customer service that is rare these days. The process was hassle free, and the estimate on time to complete the order was spot on. The end result was even beyond my high expectations. Blown away by the quality of workmanship would be an understatement. So much so that I am now sending my 43X for the RMRcc service. If you are on the fence, don’t be, you won’t be disappointed. 100% recommend Jagerwerks for slide milling and optic cut service. Well done!!!

The transaction went smooth. The turnaround time was much shorter than expected. The black nitride finish is beautiful (slightly darker black than factory). The optic fit perfectly. I couldn’t be happier. I have 3 more slides to send them. Thank you Jagerwerks!

Precise work, consistent coating, perfect service.

Slide was shipped in mid Nov and received mid Dec, and unprecedented turnaround time. Milled pocket is precise and crisp, threads are crisp, an nitride coating is even throughout. Excellent guidance and quick responses from staff when reaching out with questions. Irons and optic /w sealing plate all installed and to my door perfectly squared away. 10/10, i'm a permanent convert.

Precision Optic Cut.

This is my first order with Jagerwerks to have an optic cut done on a G23 Gen 4. I watched the video of how it’s done on Jagerwerk’s YouTube page. The machining process is very impressive. I elected to have the Black Nitride finish applied and am glad I did. After I received the slide back from JW, I can report that the work performed on it was/is amazing. I intend to send another slide or two to Jagerwerks for more optic cut services in the future. Based on my experience, I highly recommend JW company for best results.

Wow, great job. Overall I had an rmr cut, Dawson suppessor height sights, enhanced slide serration’s, Jagerwerks back plate, and black nitride done to my G19x. Everything was done perfectly. I’m so impressed. Communication was also top notch. Would definitely use Jagerwerks for future work. Thanks so much.

I recently received my G19 slide back from JW, I am very impressed with everything the machine work is fantastic it looks factory. I chose to have my slide coated and the coating is flawless, with the extra coating it fits like a glove. I had JW install my RMR and suppressor height sites during assembly everything is tight and aligned. 100% would recommend.
