Description

If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item. 

Black Nitride adds roughly 3 weeks to your slide order. Items sent in only for black Nitride have a 3-6 week turn around time. 

The Salt Bath Nitride process is a Thermo Chemical treatment that improves wear resistance and corrosion resistance of ferrous metals with little or no dimensional change.

If you send in a slide that we do not offer milling for you will have to have it completely disassembled. Please remove the irons and all internals. If you fail to do this we will refund the order and return the slides.

    I sent in a slide for an older/obscure handgun that has sentimental value, and was in need of a new black nitride coating. The finished product from Jagewerks is amazing and reflects the care that would be given to a modern custom competition handgun! I highly recommend these guys and plan to use them again in the future.

    Ok...I was a little worried about having my slide coated and it looking like an applied coat. But ... I got back a crisp OEM looking black Glock slide that would pass for Glock issue all week long. I ran about 350 rounds through it and it looks great! It was immaculate in terms of workmanship. Great price. Well worth it. Totally pumped about how it turned out.

    Tried to send my slide to Sig for Nitron coating but they wouldn't work on due to aftermarket cuts. For half the price Jager did a perfect job and they removed and put all of the slide components back for free!

    Total process took about three weeks from the moment I sent it off to receiving it. The quality of the nitride is amazing, by far the best I've ever seen. At this price, it's a total bargain. Plus, they'll media blast your slide if you already have something applied to it.

    Love my nitride coating by JagerWerks. The whole process was completed smoothly and quickly. I’ve been shopping around and still can’t find another that can match the price and output. Looking forward to sending another slide In for work.

    Sent my stainless steel barrel in to get black nitride. JW did an awesome job and finish is top notch. They also milled and Cerakote my G19 slide which looks better than a manufacturer finish. Customer service is great and responded quickly to questions. I will definitely be using JW for future work

    Had them do this finish on my G34 slide after milling for a DP Pro. Finish is flawless. My slide was pretty beat up when I sen it to them and it looks like brand new.
