Description

If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item. 

Black Nitride adds roughly 3 weeks to your slide order. Items sent in only for black Nitride have a 3-6 week turn around time. 

The Salt Bath Nitride process is a Thermo Chemical treatment that improves wear resistance and corrosion resistance of ferrous metals with little or no dimensional change.

If you send in a slide that we do not offer milling for you will have to have it completely disassembled. Please remove the irons and all internals. If you fail to do this we will refund the order and return the slides.

    I have a Glock 48 nd though I am happy with the pistol I was not a fan of the silver nPVD finish Glock did on the early models. I decided to send my slide into Jagerwerks for the Nitride finish and I am extremely happy that I did. Wow what a difference. Quality of the finish and quick turnaround will make me a customer for life!

    Excellent treatment for the Sig 365

    Was not satisfied with the nitron finish on my Sig 365. It came with scratches and worn finish at the slide release lever contact point. It is a carry gun, but I like it more when the finish wears naturally and evenly with time and use. Nitride matte black looks better than nitron’s chalk like grey in my opinion. Good job!

    Nitride is perfect. Much better than the factory finish. My slide was returned about 2 weeks sooner than expected. I also ordered the radius serrations which are a nice touch and perfectly machined. Well worth the money and wait.

    Just had the slide done in black nitride. Absolutely beautiful. Looks better than a factory finish and a LOT better than the "silver" original finish..and only 50$ !! Highly recommended!!!

    I picked this refinish to along with slide chamfering for my glock 19 slide. It came back 3 weeks sooner than expected and looks gorgeous. Even finish with a nice dark color and no blotched areas. Very good looking job.

    I really like the factory finish on my Glocks and was hoping to get "something close" on the Zev Dragonfly slide I bought for by G19. Jagerwerks absolutely delivered: the finish is flawless and precisely the "Glock factory" look & feel I'd wanted. Great job!
