Description

If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item. 

Black Nitride adds roughly 3 weeks to your slide order. Items sent in only for black Nitride have a 3-6 week turn around time. 

The Salt Bath Nitride process is a Thermo Chemical treatment that improves wear resistance and corrosion resistance of ferrous metals with little or no dimensional change.

If you send in a slide that we do not offer milling for you will have to have it completely disassembled. Please remove the irons and all internals. If you fail to do this we will refund the order and return the slides.

    Nitride is perfect. Much better than the factory finish. My slide was returned about 2 weeks sooner than expected. I also ordered the radius serrations which are a nice touch and perfectly machined. Well worth the money and wait.

    Just had the slide done in black nitride. Absolutely beautiful. Looks better than a factory finish and a LOT better than the "silver" original finish..and only 50$ !! Highly recommended!!!

    I picked this refinish to along with slide chamfering for my glock 19 slide. It came back 3 weeks sooner than expected and looks gorgeous. Even finish with a nice dark color and no blotched areas. Very good looking job.

    I really like the factory finish on my Glocks and was hoping to get "something close" on the Zev Dragonfly slide I bought for by G19. Jagerwerks absolutely delivered: the finish is flawless and precisely the "Glock factory" look & feel I'd wanted. Great job!

    Jagerwerks did a top shelf job with my Beretta 85BB slide. It took a while to get the slide back but it was well worth the wait.

    I sent in a slide for an older/obscure handgun that has sentimental value, and was in need of a new black nitride coating. The finished product from Jagewerks is amazing and reflects the care that would be given to a modern custom competition handgun! I highly recommend these guys and plan to use them again in the future.

    Ok...I was a little worried about having my slide coated and it looking like an applied coat. But ... I got back a crisp OEM looking black Glock slide that would pass for Glock issue all week long. I ran about 350 rounds through it and it looks great! It was immaculate in terms of workmanship. Great price. Well worth it. Totally pumped about how it turned out.
