Description

If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item. 

Black Nitride adds roughly 3 weeks to your slide order. Items sent in only for black Nitride have a 3-6 week turn around time. 

The Salt Bath Nitride process is a Thermo Chemical treatment that improves wear resistance and corrosion resistance of ferrous metals with little or no dimensional change.

If you send in a slide that we do not offer milling for you will have to have it completely disassembled. Please remove the irons and all internals. If you fail to do this we will refund the order and return the slides.

    Probably the most beautiful black nitride slide finish I have ever seen. I am in love! Jagerwerks was very fast responding to my emails and keeping me updated upon request. It took 3.5 weeks for me to receive my slide back after being delivered so lead time is right on. I will be sending them more items in the future.

    Jaggerwerks did such a good nitride finish on my glock slide that I am sending them another. Finish is a dark matte black that really looks good.

    Great job and lead time was spot on. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star review is because an oem channel was installed back into the slide, even though I sent a note saying i was going to install a stainless steel one.

    Looks fantastic, very smooth and even finish. Cosmetically 5 stars, only reason for the 4 star review is I've only had it 2 weeks and can't vouch for wear resistance.

    I have a Glock 48 nd though I am happy with the pistol I was not a fan of the silver nPVD finish Glock did on the early models. I decided to send my slide into Jagerwerks for the Nitride finish and I am extremely happy that I did. Wow what a difference. Quality of the finish and quick turnaround will make me a customer for life!

    Excellent treatment for the Sig 365

    Was not satisfied with the nitron finish on my Sig 365. It came with scratches and worn finish at the slide release lever contact point. It is a carry gun, but I like it more when the finish wears naturally and evenly with time and use. Nitride matte black looks better than nitron’s chalk like grey in my opinion. Good job!
