Description

If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item. 

Black Nitride adds roughly 3 weeks to your slide order. Items sent in only for black Nitride have a 3-6 week turn around time. 

The Salt Bath Nitride process is a Thermo Chemical treatment that improves wear resistance and corrosion resistance of ferrous metals with little or no dimensional change.

If you send in a slide that we do not offer milling for you will have to have it completely disassembled. Please remove the irons and all internals. If you fail to do this we will refund the order and return the slides.

    Absolutely perfect! Took about a month to receive my slide back, which was right on time with their initial estimation. It looks even better than a factory glock finish to me. Will definitely be sending more slides their way. Do not hesitate to business with these folks! Top notch all the way around.

    I didn’t care for the silver look on my Glock 48 and it wears quickly. I sent my slide in for the nitride finish and am very pleased. This is the second one I have had done.

    I had a G26, G19, and Sig p320 done. All three barrels as well and fit & finish are perfect. Lube up and a little range time, showed that function was perfect also. Thanks Much!

    My G43x has worn areas on the slide from the previous owner use. Changed the silver to black nitride. 4 week turnaround as advertised. Looks like a new gun now. Highly recommend.

    Had my slide cut by jagerwerks. Should Of had them black nitride it for me. instead I had someone else cerakote it and it started to peel. The black nitride looks good and holds up really nice from what I’ve seen from my friends gun. So I sent it back to have it done. Looks good! Happy with it.

    Glock 45 Slide & Barrel Black Nitride Treatment

    I sent off my Glock 45 slide and barrel to get the Black Nitride treatment and it was returned to me in about 5 weeks. I much prefer this over the original factory coating which I found to be too slick. The new metal treatment feels better in hand and has an almost matte black appearance to it. In addition to the metal treatment Jagerwerks also installed a new front sight which I included with the slide. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to add an extra layer of protection to their Glock at an affordable price!
