Description

If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item.

Cerakote and Black Nitride are for the entire slide. (Black Nitride adds 2-3 weeks lead time)

For Cerakote color codes and examples: https://jagerwerks.com/cerakote/

If (NONE) is selected for cerakote the slide will be returned raw, machined metal. All internals will be removed and included with the slide. Please make sure that you have arrangements for slide coating if we do not coat it.

It is implied that the customer will have arrangements for coating of a slide if NONE is selected for color. If NONE is chosen there is potentially an issue for rust and corrosion to develop on the slide. Jagerwerks is not responsible for misuse and neglect of bare metal.

Trijicon SRO - Due to the design of the SRO the "front of optic" is not a usable option. Only the Race Cut and "behind optic" are available.

Deltapoint Pro - on a Glock slide we must use the iron sight that attaches to the optic housing from Leupold. We do not offer standard iron sight dovetails behind, or in front of the optic.

Does not include chamfer cut*

Yeti cut, RMR cut, and nitride re-finish review

Published by Heinrich Soltow on Sep 24th 2018

I bought a Glock 19 Gen 5 and decided I wanted to spruce it up a bit: optics cut, front serrations, some cool milling work. I also decided to make a 'Roland special" type build, so I bought a SECOND Gen 5 slide. I paid Jagerwerks for TWO Yeti cuts with RMR milling and nitride refinishing. It tooks about 3 weeks. It came back nearly flawless. One of the channel liners came out and was a little damaged, however that's to be expected with the liquids involved in milling. I just replaced it; took only a few minutes. If you really want to avoid this just remove the channel liners before shipping. NOTE: Per Glock armorer's course, anytime you remove the channel liners you have to replace them with brand new ones. There is apparently no non destructive way to remove them; although they will sometimes fall out on their if you over-oil the striker channel on older Glocks. One thing to note is that the screw tapping cut for the RMR cut does protrude into the safety plunger channel. You can see the screw hole if you shine a light into the safety plunger channel. It does on just about every RMR cut out from any other company out there. However, as far as I can tell, the provided screw itself doesn't protrude into the safety plunger channel and doesn't interfere with the safety plunger or the extractor. All in all, this was just about flawless. I was a little worried after that one Instagram post that showed rust, however Jagerwerks said they made it right and fixed the issue that caused that. Although full Jagerwerks are a little pricey compared to other milling companies, I chose them because of their reputation, their streamlined process, and their fast turn around time. If you really want to save money you can simply ONLY buy their RMR cut rather than a package (it's just $125). If there is any critism I have it would be that I wish Jagerwerks had an 'al la carte' option for JUST front slide serrations (aka FS, cutting through the rollmarks). Something like $75. I bet they would get a TON of orders for JUST RMR cuts and FS. There's something to be said about buying from the established brand rather than the mom-and-pop shops. Purchase with confidence.

    Yeti with Top Window

Published by Matteo on Apr 18th 2018

Awesome got the tungsten slide and love it. First time shipping my slide anywhere for work but was deff worth. Feels and looks great! I am running a ported 19C Barrel for the top cut which helps with recoil. Slide and front post sight get a lil dirty but over all great choice. Yeti slide cut is a great choice!

    Killer!

Love this cut, really just wanted some simple forward serrations. Also chose the top window option and it turned out awesome. Great machining work and the cerakote job is slick too. I’ll be back for more!

    Great work

I paintently waited 1 year to buy this. I was very hesitant to spend $375 on a slide but I have to say it is definitely worth it. I am absolutely in love with mine. I was a decent shot with stock sights, but adding an RMR made me look like John Wick at the range. If you were on the edge, buy this slide.

    Incredible Craftsmanship

Published by Lee McNeil on May 29th 2017

I have to say, the work that Jagerwerks does is amazing. I really wanted to keep my frame subtle as it is my duty weapon and found the Yeti cut to be the best fit. The cut is clean, the cerakote work is perfect. I would definitely recommend Jagerwerks for any frame work you might be thinking about. Steve and his crew are top notch.
