If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item.

Cerakote and Black Nitride are for the entire slide. (Black Nitride adds 2-3 weeks lead time)

It is implied that the customer will have arrangements for coating of a slide if NONE is selected for color. If NONE is chosen there is potentially an issue for rust and corrosion to develop on the slide. Jagerwerks is not responsible for misuse and neglect of bare metal.

Our Trijicon RMR cut is milled to a depth of .125" which includes front recoil posts and mounting screws.

Screws supplied are (2) #6-32 IP15. Both are safe to use on the extractor side of the slide. An IP15 wrench is included for install.

We do not charge extra for disassembly/reassembly, if you send your entire slide assembly we will laser align the sights for you.

If you include new sights we will install the new ones at no charge. If you include your RMR, barrel and recoil spring we will align it for free.

If your iron sights are not compatible with the optic/optic cut we will not reinstall them. They will be sent back in a plastic bag with your slide.

Does not work on the 42. 43. 43x. 48. (small slides)

The $20 upcharge on the 17L/41 is for a stainless steel plug that we install on the underside of the slide. This ensures proper thread engagement.

Carbon Cap - This is used to fill the milled area of the slide when the optic is not in use. You are able to use standard or suppressor height sights with this installed.

Sealing Plate - With the seal plate installed, the RMR can be submerged up to 66ft. for at least one hour without leakage. Made from stainless steel and weighs 2.8 g.

had the slide milled for an RMR and had it finished in black nitride. the RMR fit perfectly and the finish is awesome. can't wait to send the next slide in!

Recived it back 2 weeka before i expected.. looks fantastic!!! Red dot fits absolutly perfect. .... the slide had some matching scratches on each side that were not there before they could easily be touched up. But i will be using thia gun in uspsa so scratches are going to happen anyway. So absolutely no deal breaker for me. I will be using them again !!!

Glock 19 RMR cut/nitride/cerakote

I tend to go a bit overboard with all my firearms, my glock 19 was no exception. I read some great reviews on Jagerwerks and decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. I bought the most basic Gen 5 Glock 19 because I wanted to see what a custom milling job would get me. I am blown away at hoe nice this looks. The Trijicon RMR sits perfectly atop the slide, and it comes with a great carbon fiber to fill the space when the RMR is not in use (I suspect never, but hey, I have a killer cover for if that time ever comes). I read Jagerwerks' and other disclaimers on exposed cut metal and how if not treated it is prone to rust. I ordered a Nitride job because Nitride physically alters the metal, it penetrates and will not wear down like other coatings. This is the best protection you can get for your newly exposed metal. And here is where I webt over the top, I also decided to go with a Sniper Gray Cerakote. I did both the nitride and caerakote simply because eventually, maybe not in my lifetime but eventually, cerakote will wear down and untreated exposed metal will rust. I was a bit nervous about this because I was afraid the two tone Glock was going to look awful. I couldn't have been more wrong! The dark gray coloring of the slide, set atop the black lower looks fantastic! Pair this with the installation of the black Trijicon RMR and the black Trijicon supressor height sights (both installed for free mind you) and this Glock is in a league of it's own. The cerakote is very professional, even coat the whole way around. I couldn't find a single flaw! I was so happy with it I couldn't wait to show everyone. Friends, family, everyone down to the local gun shop, they all agree, this was some very fine work. Well worth the wait, and I will most definitely be sending more work their way.

Mailed off my G17 slide to get the RMR cut and had it back in my possession in about 2 1/2 weeks! The quality of the milling and slide coating is absolutely second to none and I couldn't be happier. Such a painless, hassle-free experience and I wouldn't trust anyone else for slide work. Up next is the G19 for the Covid cut and another RMR job. Buy with confidence!!!

I'm really happy with the work Jagerwerks performed. I like to support my local businesses as much as I can, but sending my stuff to Jagerwerks was not only way cheaper, but also faster than taking it to be done locally. I'm a happy camper and would recommend them to anyone anytime!
