Description

If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item. 

Black Nitride adds roughly 3 weeks to your slide order. Items sent in only for black Nitride have a 3-6 week turn around time. 

The Salt Bath Nitride process is a Thermo Chemical treatment that improves wear resistance and corrosion resistance of ferrous metals with little or no dimensional change.

If you send in a slide that we do not offer milling for you will have to have it completely disassembled. Please remove the irons and all internals. If you fail to do this we will refund the order and return the slides.

    I recently sent in the slide to a 19x for the nitride treatment. I received it back 5 weeks to the day that I sent it. It looks great. I’ll be sending another slide in next week.

    The Black Nitride finish is consistently applied and durable. Much better than the Factory Glock finish. This is the fourth handgun the JagerWerks has done for me. Always the best quality work.

    Brand new all over again!

    This is the third time I’ve sent a Glock slide to JE for some nitride-love and once again it came back looking brand new & flawless. Communication was great, and they turned it around well within the promised timeline. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

    Nitride refinish Glock

    The Jager Nitride finish looks nearly identical to the factory Glock Gen 3 and 4 finish but does not scratch as easily as the factory finish, it is just tougher like a Glock finish should be and use to be. Again this is comparing the Jagerwerks Nitride to newer Glock Gen 3 and Gen 4 finish, the Glock Gen 5 finish is really good from factory and wouldn't take the Gen 5 finish off for anything but if you have a Gen 3 or newer Gen 4 the Jagerwerks Nitride is a tougher finish.

    Glock 19 Work...

    I sent my Gen 5 Glock 19 to Jagerwerks to have my slide milled for a Holosun 507C, Para top cut, Dawson iron sights and both the barrel and slide refinished in black nitride. The results far exceeded my expectations. The quality of work is by far the best in the business and their customer service was outstanding. It was worth the wait and I already have another gun on the way to Jagerwerks. I couldn't be happier and will be using Jagerwerks exclusively in the future. Hell I didn't even have to sight it when I got it back!!!

    The quality of the Nitride Finish is impressive. Absolutely, perfect appearance. This is the third cut and refinish in Nitride that Jagerwerks has done for me. As always, outstanding workmanship from Jagerwerks!

    Black nitride Glock slides

    Had a Glock slide black nitride by a different company & was disappointed. Then sent it to Jagerwerks who did it right. Then sent another slide to Jagerwerks & they did it right actually outstanding. The only place I will send future work will be Jagerwerks

    Looks great, can't find any imperfections. We will see how it holds up, but I'm not worried.
