Description

If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item. 

Black Nitride adds roughly 3 weeks to your slide order. Items sent in only for black Nitride have a 3-6 week turn around time. 

The Salt Bath Nitride process is a Thermo Chemical treatment that improves wear resistance and corrosion resistance of ferrous metals with little or no dimensional change.

If you send in a slide that we do not offer milling for you will have to have it completely disassembled. Please remove the irons and all internals. If you fail to do this we will refund the order and return the slides.

    The finish is superb overall, but I did find a small smudge about the size of a fingertip on the slide. So something inadvertently must have touched the slide before the nitride process. But it does look pretty good and the defect is hardly noticeable. That is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

    I wanted my M18 coyote slide refinished in a nitride finish. In talking with my coworkers, they recommended JagerWerks. I went on line and placed my order. Within their recommended time frame, I got my slide back. I have to say I was impressed with the quality and workmanship. I couldn't be happier with the results and the customer service from Matt. Outstanding job JagerWerks!

    Sent my slide in to get Black Nitride put on to fix a bad decision by me. Slide looks awesome, seems to be better quality than what was on it before. Great communication from Jagerwerks and they did the job pretty quickly. This is my 3rd time working with them and I keep coming back for the service and the work they do. Customer service is awesome as well. Very happy camper and will continue to give them my business.

    Great coating & consistent application from jagerwerks. I have had 7 slides coated from several manufacturers and every time this is a far superior coating.

    Black Nitride barrel. slide milling and Black Nitride for slide. I sent the Holosun, and all the parts to reassemble the slide. It took about 11 weeks to get it back, BUT! let me tell you ,The work was OUTSTANDING.....Note: to you all,, have patience. These guys at Jagerwerks pay attention to details. God Bless......

    I had a new G20.5 threaded barrel in stainless steel that needed to be coated in black nitride correctly and in a timely manner. My unit armorer in recommended JagerWerks and I could not be any more pleased with their work on the barrel. JW's customer service is top-notch, as is the quality and turn-around time of their service(s). I will be sending in more barrels, both new & "seasoned", for their outstanding work.
