It is implied that the customer will have arrangements for coating of a slide if NONE is selected for color. If NONE is chosen there is potentially an issue for rust and corrosion to develop on the slide. Jagerwerks is not responsible for misuse and neglect of bare metal.
Our Vortex Viper includes front and rear recoil posts and mounting screws. When the iron sight dovetail remains in the factory location there is a small hole created on the front of the optic cut. Due to the length of the optic we will mill into the safety plunger channel.
This will not affect the performance or safety of your slide.
Screws supplied are (2) #6-32 x 3/8". An IP10 wrench is included for install.
If your iron sights are not compatible with the optic/optic cut we will not reinstall them. They will be sent back in a plastic bag with your slide.
We do not charge extra for disassembly/reassembly, if you send your entire slide assembly we will laser align the sights for you.

The $20 upcharge on the 17L/41 is for a stainless steel plug that we install on the underside of the slide. This ensures proper thread engagement.
Due to optic cut depth, the Crimson Trace red dots do not fit on our Viper optic cut. The Crimson Trace has a viper footprint but the front and rear offset differs from the Vortex.

Vortex viper slide cut & cerakote for glock
First of all, this whole covid mess has been a nightmare as far as ordering peoducts/turn around time for work. Jagerwerks accepted my slide and started on it immediately, turn around was expected to be atleast 4-5 weeks and my slide was back in my hands by week 3. Given the circumstances and order volume being so high I was surprised at how fast it got done. I was in contact with steve from jagerwerks the entire time who assured me everything was being done right, and as quick as possible. When I recieved my slide back I was absolutely floored by the quality of the work. They cut my slide and added an awesome sniper gray cerakote which looks killer. and laser aligned my suppressor sights. I immediately installed my RDO & ran some drills and I couldn’t be happier with the finished work and outcome of my slide. The jagerwerks team is incredible and they are great people. I will have all of my slide work done by jagerwerks from now on. Their work and customer service is nothing short of incredible.

Sent a slide to these guys to have a vortex viper red Dot milled I sent the slide red dot and everything also had the para-cut made in the black ceroke It was a two week turnaround time The red Dot came mounted to the slide everything was perfect couldn't be happier highly recommend

Vortex Viper optic cut
Sent both my G19 and G23 full slides in for optic cuts, new sights, nitrite coating, and mounting my Vipers. Took advantage of the Black Friday deal. The website was easy to navigate, no issues during the purchase, and pleasant to deal with via email. Got both of my slides back after about 6 weeks and they look fantastic. Machining look great, optics mounted, and new suppressor sights installed. I have already started referring friends. Can't wait for my first range date this weekend. I'm a customer for life.

Glock 19 Vortex Viper and Slide Work
I had the guys do a Vortex Viper optic cut, enhanced serrations and chamfer on my Glock 19. They finished it up with JW Camo (OD Green, Tungsten, Black). It looks fantastic! Professional work right here. Will do more business with JagerWerks!

When shipping slides for milling, SHIP SLIDES ONLY. Do NOT ship the lower of the firearm as we are not transferring the firearm. We only custom mill slides.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
