It is implied that the customer will have arrangements for coating of a slide if NONE is selected for color. If NONE is chosen there is potentially an issue for rust and corrosion to develop on the slide. Jagerwerks is not responsible for misuse and neglect of bare metal.
Our Vortex Venom includes front recoil posts and mounting screws. When the iron sight dovetail remains in the factory location there is a small hole created on the front of the optic cut. Due to the length of the optic we will mill into the safety plunger channel. This will not affect the performance or safety of your slide.
Screws supplied are (2) #6-32 7/16".
We do not charge extra for disassembly/reassembly, if you send your entire slide assembly we will laser align the sights for you.
If you include new sights we will install the new ones at no charge. If you include your Venom, barrel and recoil spring we will align it for free.
If your iron sights are not compatible with the optic/optic cut we will not reinstall them. They will be sent back in a plastic bag with your slide.
If you select to have the dovetail behind the optic (standard configuration) you will need approximately .420" tall sights for a co-witness. Due to the length of the Venom and having to be very close to the rear dovetail some rear sights will need modification.

If you select to have the dovetail in front of the optic, you will need approximately .395" tall sights for a co-witness. No modification needed.
The $20 upcharge on the 17L/41 is for a stainless steel plug that we install on the underside of the slide. This ensures proper thread engagement.

Vortex Venom Optic Milling

Great work done to my Glock 19
I had a vortex venom installed on my gen 3 glock 19 with the slide milling done for the optic. Jagerwerks completed my project in a good time frame and I have had no issues with the work done on my handgun. I will definitely come back here for more work in the future. I also had a top cut done which I'm very pleased with, no issues with anything. I'd also like to add that their customer service response & information is spectacular and overall made me as satisfied as a customer can get. Thank you.

Perfection
They knocked my G34 out of the park. The customer service was great! I had a few questions about shipping and a few about the placement of my rear sight. Not only did they reply within the hour, They went above and beyond just simply answering my question. I was sent videos and links that helped make my decision on where to put my rear sight..... in front of the optic.. i sent my sights and they put them on for me at no charge. I had them put a Nitride finish on my slide so, I knew it would be a longer lead time but I got my slide back 2 weeks earlier than their stated lead times on their website. I’m Definitely going to do more business with Jagerwerks.

Incredible quality, great price, QUICK turn around!
Not sure where to even start. This has been the best transaction I’ve ever had with an aftermarket firearm custom shop. I sent in my Glock 19 gen5 slide to be milled for a Vortex red dot. It was so quick! It was 2ish weeks from when it left my house until it was back. Insane. Also, it was one of the only shops that was able to place the red dot IN FRONT of the rear iron sights on my Glock 19. Makes co witnessing much better and fits AmeriGlow suppressor height sights perfect. Anyway, thank you Jagerwerks, 10/10 would buy again!

When shipping slides for milling, SHIP SLIDES ONLY. Do NOT ship the lower of the firearm as we are not transferring the firearm. We only custom mill slides.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
