If holster wear/durability is a concern then we highly recommend going with our Black Nitride as Cerakote is a wearable item.

Cerakote and Black Nitride are for the entire slide. (Black Nitride adds 2-3 weeks lead time)

It is implied that the customer will have arrangements for coating of a slide if NONE is selected for color. If NONE is chosen there is potentially an issue for rust and corrosion to develop on the slide. Jagerwerks is not responsible for misuse and neglect of bare metal.

Our Holosun 407c/507c/508t cut is milled to a depth of .125" which includes front recoil posts and mounting screws.

Screws supplied are (2) #6-32 IP15. Both are safe to use on the extractor side of the slide. An IP15 wrench is included for install.

We do not charge extra for disassembly/reassembly, if you send your entire slide assembly we will laser align the sights for you.

If you include new sights we will install the new ones at no charge. If you include your 407c/507c/508t, barrel and recoil spring we will align it for free.

If your iron sights are not compatible with the optic/optic cut we will not reinstall them. They will be sent back in a plastic bag with your slide.

The $20 upcharge on the 17L/41 is for a stainless steel plug that we install on the underside of the slide. This ensures proper thread engagement.

Optic Cuts and Nitride

I had my G17 and G19 milled with this cut and front radius serrations on the top edges of the slide and then nitrided. Everything was beautifully done and looks like it could have been a factory new special order kind of thing. Really impressed with the results!

Glock 17 red dot milling

I had my red dot on an adapter plate but it just would not hold zero for more than a few shots. Having the slide milled was definitely the way to go.

Called and spoke with a very kind gentleman who spent a good 10 minutes with me discussing options and making sure I got things right. They did an amazing job and I highly recommend their services. Online tracking is great and the cut is perfect.

My Holoson 507C fits like a glove, the machining is so precise, if you don't put it in, straight, it will not fit...Gotta love the quality of their work! Repeat customer, and will keep repeating, until all of my iron sighted pistols have an optics cut on them...only from Jagerwerks! Kudos for another great job! Thanks!

Optic cut

Only took about 5 weeks to get the slide back. Beautiful work, optic fits perfectly. I believe this was a 4th of July sale, basically got it done for half the price. So happy I finally did this. My Glock looks amazing!

Optic Slide cut

Overall very satisfied with the end product. Sent in my slide along with a 407K and went with black nitride. Came back with a mounted optic and a great looking finish! Only 1 thing I would say is that when I went to reassemble my slide, the extractor would not fully seat due to the screw for the optic being just maybe .5mm too long so I swapped it out for the shorter screw. But overall very happy and would recommend

What can I say? It’s flawless. It looks as if it grew there. Sent my slide, sent my optic, and chose the OD cerakote finish! It’s perfect and I could not be more happy with it. I did lots of research before choosing to send my first slide to JagerWerks, but it won’t be my last. Planning on sending two more Glocks and my HKVP9T as soon as I have my rubles saved up! You should do the same. You won’t regret it.
