It is implied that the customer will have arrangements for coating of a slide if NONE is selected for color. If NONE is chosen there is potentially an issue for rust and corrosion to develop on the slide. Jagerwerks is not responsible for misuse and neglect of bare metal.
Our Vortex Viper includes front and rear recoil posts and mounting screws. When the iron sight dovetail remains in the factory location there is a small hole created on the front of the optic cut. Due to the length of the optic we will mill into the safety plunger channel.
This will not affect the performance or safety of your slide.
Screws supplied are (2) #6-32 x 3/8". An IP10 wrench is included for install.
If your iron sights are not compatible with the optic/optic cut we will not reinstall them. They will be sent back in a plastic bag with your slide.
We do not charge extra for disassembly/reassembly, if you send your entire slide assembly we will laser align the sights for you.

The $20 upcharge on the 17L/41 is for a stainless steel plug that we install on the underside of the slide. This ensures proper thread engagement.
Due to optic cut depth, the Crimson Trace red dots do not fit on our Viper optic cut. The Crimson Trace has a viper footprint but the front and rear offset differs from the Vortex.

Very happy with my Glock 22 vortex viper cut. I sent my slide, barrel, and spring in with a set of suppressor height trijicon iron sights to be installed. The cut was perfect and they finished to exposed metal with a black finish that is rust resistant. Turn around was about 10 days from the time they received it until it was back on my doorstep. AWESOME MY viper fits nice and tight like a factory cut. Look no further for you optic mount on your handgun.
I’m using this as my duty gun for a specialized team and have no worries about my accuracy and reliability when it comes time to pull the trigger. -

Vortex Vioer + Cerakote
I really like the work they did. I was weary of the low price compared to their competitors, because I figured it should cost at least $100 more. These guys did an outstanding job on my Glock 23 converted to 9mm Roland special. The cerakote is flawless, the red dot is mounted tight, and zeroed. The only regret I have is not paying a little more to have them mill out the slide further. By the time I changed my mind and wanted to pay for more work, they were already done with the project. These guys are that fast. Don’t wait to order and don’t wait to change your mind about what you want added. Pay for the whole kit up front, otherwise you’ll be like me and miss out on your chance for more!

When shipping slides for milling, SHIP SLIDES ONLY. Do NOT ship the lower of the firearm as we are not transferring the firearm. We only custom mill slides.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
